Regular professional cleaning to remove soft and hard deposits that have accumulated on your teeth are important to help prevent the development on dental diseases including gingivitis, periodontitis and dental caries.

We use a top of the range ultrasonic scaler to clean around your teeth and gums. This allows us to clean around some of the most sensitive teeth comfortably without the need local anaesthetic injections.

We also use the aid of pre-polishing with a desensitizing gel to further help with desensitising in some situations. Only a small number of people who usually need local anaesthetic injections for cleans find they still require them with the techniques we use.
