Video: Tooth Extractions Explained
Occasionally when a tooth is too extensively damaged and cannot be saved, an extraction of the tooth may be required. We will carefully assess the tooth clinically and with digital xrays to determine the difficulty of the extraction.
Following this assessment, we ensure that the tooth is completely numbed up so that you are unable to feel anything and the procedure is as comfortable as possible.
We walk you through instructions on how to care for the extraction site over the next few days to ensure the best healing outcome. We also offer free review appointments during the healing period so you can rest assured that you will be well looked after during and after the procedure.
