Dr. Adrian Fernandez
Dentist
Adrian graduated from the University of Otago in 2009. Following graduation, he worked at a small rural practice in Balclutha for 6 years before moving back to Auckland. Adrian started at ToothDoctor when the practice was set up in 2017 and in September 2018, he bought the practice from the previous owners.
Adrian is passionate about all aspects of general dentistry particularly minimally invasive, evidence-based dentistry. He enjoys integrated patient care and works closely with other dental and medical practitioners to provide the highest quality of dental care. He is well known for his gentle manner and thorough, meticulous work.
He has also been actively involved in forensic odontology work since 2014 and has aided in the identification of numerous individuals including in mass casualty events. Adrian is currently the regional coordinator for forensic odontology services for the Auckland region and assists Police in routine Coronial identification work.
Reia Balle
Dental Assistant
Reia joined the team here at Tooth Doctor in early 2020. She grew up north of Auckland before deciding to move to the city. She has been learning the ins and outs of becoming a dental assistant since the end of 2020 and has recently taken over as lead dental assistant.
Reia enjoys being outside in her free time and has a particular love for being on the water. Reia also studied to become a stewardess to pursue a career working on super yachts and is looking to do this in the future.
